As noted yesterday, SF Beer Week kicks off tonight with the annual opening gala at Pier 35. But starting Saturday, there are nine more days of events all over the Bay Area — dinners, tap takeovers, special releases, category-specific fests, and more.

Below, a selection of fun stuff happening in SF and the East Bay, but you can search and sort the full schedule here.

Saturday, February 8

Hazy vs. Clear IPA Fest @ Mikkeller Bar SF
Starting at noon and going all day long, Mikkeller Bar in downtown San Francisco will be showcasing different styles of double and triple IPAs — both in the hazy, New England style that's all the rage, and the traditional, crisper West Coast style. There will be examples from Cellarmaker, Chapman, Double Nickel, El Segundo, Great Notion, Henhouse, Mikkeller, SDResident Culture, and Russian River Brewing, among others. 34 Mason Street, noon til close

Heady Topper Everyday @ City Beer Store
Cult-renowned New England IPA Heady Topper — arguably the beer that started the boom — from Vermont's The Alchemist, will be available by the can at City Beer Store while supplies last. The beer doesn't make a ton of appearances on the West Coast, so get it while you can. 1148 Mission Street, noon til whenever.

Sunday, February 9

SF Landmarks Bike Tour with Fort Point
As they have the last couple of years, SF's own Fort Point Beer Co. will lead a three-hour tour of San Francisco landmarks, by bike, starting out at the Dutch Windmill in Golden Gate Park. It'll be a nice weekend for it, and the tour ends at Fort Point's Ferry Building taproom with a free round of pretzels. Dutch Windmill, 10:30 a.m., tickets here

4th Annual Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing @ Wine Down
Head to SoMa for this event pairing four local brews with four different Girl Scout cookies — and $4 of each flight goes back to the Girl Scouts. 685 Folsom Street, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

European/Indian Fusion Dinner with HenHouse
HenHouse Brewing is helping to host a weeklong "imaginary restaurant" at Picnic on Third, and on this second night of the event, former surgeon Priya Gaiha will be cooking up Euro-Indian fare, to be paired with HenHouse's excellent beers. The week's dinners are being curated by Christina Alexis of the Pleasure Principle Supper Club, and you can find more info and tickets here. 493 Third Street, 7 p.m.

Tuesday, February 11

Taco Tuesday @ The Rare Barrel
Berkeley's barrel-aged sour beer experts at The Rare Barrel will be pairing tacos with their brews, and it's likely to be a lively good time. 940 Parker Street, Berkeley. 4 p.m. til close

Thursday, February 13

Female Focus @ Harmonic Brewing
Why spend another Thursday at your regular bar when you can be celebrating some women-owned food businesses and artists at Harmonic Brewing in SF. The female and black-owned Compassion Meals will be serving up vegan fried chicken; queer and female-owned Good To Eat Dumpling will be dishing up Taiwanese dumplings, noodles, and pot stickers; and chef Nicole Delacruz of Psst Hoy will be slinging Siopao (Filipino steam buns). 1050 26th Street, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday, February 14

Fuck Valentine's - Love Beer! @ Ferment.Drink.Repeat Brewing
From the listing: "Decorate your own voodoo doll as we spin anti-love songs and enjoy the release of Dark Heart Smoked Black Lager — the perfect companion to enjoy the freedom from corporate greed trying to tell us love is only to be celebrated one day of the year! 2636 San Bruno Avenue, 3 p.m. til close

Saturday, February 15

3rd Annual Firkin Fest @ Speakeasy Ales & Lagers
It's a cask beer fest featuring several teams competing to make the best — and everyone in attendance gets to vote for their favorite. Also, there will be live music at 6 p.m. from Harmonica James and Blues Journey, and Bayview Pasta will be slinging pizza. 1195 Evans Avenue, noon til close

Sunday, February 16

7th Annual Maui Luau @ The Dark Horse Inn
Finish off the week by heading on out to the Outer Mission's Dark Horse Inn for this luau with Hawaiian grub and beers from Maui Brewing — including their Pau Hana Pils, Island Smash IPA, and the Haupia Malasada Imperial Coconut Porter. (And Spam. Lots of Spam.) 942 Geneva Avenue, 1 p.m. til close
