The lineup for the eighth edition of BottleRock is out, and it's a notably more star-studded one than usual with headliners Stevie Nicks, Dave Matthews Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Miley Cyrus.

The three-day concert in downtown Napa has tended toward the eclectic with its lineups, usually aiming for an older demographic than attends Outside Lands and Coachella. This year, though, plenty of younger people are going to want to grab tickets to see Khalid, Janelle Monae, Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Maggie Rogers, and Zedd. And also playing will be a reunited Blondie, Empire of the Sun, Tegan and Sara, The Avett Brothers, Brandi Carlisle, Big Freedia, and Digable Planets.

The festival dates this year, per usual, are on Memorial Day weekend: May 22 to 24.

Dave Graham, the CEO of BottleRock, tells the Chronicle, "It’s no doubt the deepest lineup to date," and he adds, "t’s also the strongest female presence we’ve had. I’m proud of both of those things."

Tickets for this year's festival go on sale Tuesday, January 7, at 10 a.m. via the BottleRock website, and you can pre-register now. Three-day early bird passes are going for $349, but as SFist noted last year, this is a festival with several VIP tiers and swanky foodinista upgrades — and three-day early bird VIP passes are already sold out. Three-day VIP passes start at $849, and then you have the SkyDeck upgrade ($1599), and the Marriott Bonvoy suite upgrade for Marriott Bonvoy Amex cardholders ($1599), and the "Platinum by Salesforce" experience ($4350), which comes with food from Meadowood and artisanal cocktails all weekend.
