• Chesa Boudin has officially won SF’s DA race against Suzy Loftus, after provisional and mail-in ballots were accounted for. By far the most progressive candidate on the ballot, the former public defender — who promised to make criminal justice reform a top priority — bested interim district attorney Suzy Loftus, amassing 85,950 votes in total; Loftus had 83,511 votes.   • A San Jose police officer shot and killed a man who had an “outstanding warrant" after he pulled a handgun. Both the officer and the victim's names have yet to be released, the victim pronounced dead on the scene near San Jose's Saratoga Avenue; SJPD soon after the incident shut down a piece of southbound Hwy-85 between Saratoga Avenue and Winchester Boulevard until around midnight yesterday.   • Two men were hospitalized after someone decided to fire arrows into a homeless camp near East Bay Regional Park. Both men are now in stable condition, the suspect, however, is still at large, though people of the camp are quasi-positive they know the victim; if found, the rogue archer would face two counts of attempted homicide.   • A San Francisco construction worker fell 40 feet off an elevated platform yesterday. The man, who’s still alive but in critical condition, was working on a project at 11th Street, between Market and Mission streets, when one of his safety pins came loose, causing him to fall some 40 feet; he was promptly transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
