  • The power has reportedly come back on for "nearly all" PG&E customers who had it shut off Wednesday, except for Kern County. Most counties got the "all clear" but another shutoff is looming tomorrow. [ABC 7]
  • Felicity Huffman got out of jail early today under a policy that applies to inmates whose release date falls on a weekend. Huffman was scheduled to remain in custody at the Dublin FCI until Sunday. [KRON 4]
  • At Robert Young Vineyard, the Kincade Fire came dangerously close to the vines, and there were still grapes waiting to be harvested. [ABC 7]

  • A bunch of emus, ocelots, alpacas, and dozens of other animals had to be evacuated Thursday from an animal sanctuary in Geyserville. [Chronicle]
