- Another Ghost Ship tenant testified at trial Thursday, saying he had never felt so at home as he did at the collective. Jose Avalos broke down as he described escaping the flames with his two dogs, and bumping into a woman who seemed lost whom he told to follow him, but whom he lost in the smoke. [East Bay Times]
- Tubbs Fire victims in Santa Rosa say they're being put off by a contractor who's been paid to rebuild their homes. In some cases, construction is many months behind and the contractor is demanding more money. [ABC 7]
- A suspect has been arrested after a series of overnight arsons in Dublin. [CBS SF]
- BART is reminding East Bay passengers heading to Pleasant Hill that the tracks between there and Concord will be closed this weekend and several consecutive weekends. Shuttle buses will be provided between the stations instead. [NBC Bay Area]
