The first First Fridays event since January goes down tonight in Oakland's KONO neighborhood, and it's sure to draw a crowd.
The monthly culture and food fest cum block party was rained out in February, March, and April, but it is back starting at 5 p.m. Live music, food vendors, art, and all manner of other stuff will be lining Telegraph Avenue from West Grand Avenue to 27th Street.

As NBC Bay Area reports, organizers say that this wet winter was the first time since the event began that it had to be called off three months in a row.
And in case you didn't know, KONO stands for Koreatown-Northgate, and it's the stretch of Telegraph just past what's known as Uptown.
The First Fridays events started 13 years ago as Oakland Art Murmur, and quickly ballooned into a huge street fair that draws thousands every month.
