- A bicyclist was struck by an F-line streetcar this afternoon at 10th and Market Streets. The bicyclist suffered only minor injuries and "jumped off" the bike after apparently turning into the path of the streetcar. [Examiner]
- Six years after it got displaced by the America's Cup, Teatro ZinZanni won unanimous Planning Commission approval to return to the Embarcadero. In addition to rebuilding its circus-like tent on a lot between Vallejo and Davis, Teatro Zinzanni will also be building a hotel, and no one spoke against the project at Thursday's meeting. - The victims of the freeway shooting on I-880 in San Lorenzo Thursday evening were driving a stolen vehicle, and have been arrested. The shooters, who got away, were apparently targeting the vehicle, and the one of the uninjured victims had a handgun with them in the car. [KTVU]
