After months of anticipation and a teaser that introduced a new character — a spork with arms and googly eyes — Disney-Pixar has finally let us see the full-length trailer for Toy Story 4.
Judging from this, the fourth installment of Pixar's beloved franchise about toys come to life enters some even darker territory than ever before. There are some completely scary voiceless ventriloquist dummies who apparently haunt an antique shop, an underground world of nightclubs for abandoned toys, and a newly anthropomorphized disposable eating utensil who wishes he'd never been born.
There's also some kind of romantic adventure for Woody (Tom Hanks) and his long lost love Bo Peep (Annie Potts), and Keegan-Michael Key voices a rubber duck. A few new vintage toy characters get introduced by way of that antique store, including Duke Caboom "a 1970s toy based on Canada’s greatest stuntman" voiced by Keanu Reeves, and a 1950s pull-string doll named Gabby Gabby, voiced by Christina Hendricks.
Everybody else is back too, and that would be the voice of Tony Hale (Arrested Development, Veep) as Forky. Toy Story 4 comes out June 21.
