Four people were shot and wounded Saturday night at the Halftime Sports Bar in downtown Oakland.

The incident happened at the bar at 316 14th Street around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, and police arrested one man in connection with the shooting.

The four individuals are listed in stable condition, as Bay City News reports.

According to the East Bay Times, the victims were two men and two women. One woman is from Hayward, and the other three are from San Leandro, and all are between 25 and 26 years old.

Oakland Police tell the East Bay Times that the suspect is a 38-year-old Oakland man who got into a heated argument with another man at a birthday party that the four victims were attending, and he ended up pulling out a gun.

Says the East Bay Times, "It was not clear if the two men previously knew each other or if the suspect had been attending the party."

The suspect attempted to flee the scene in his car, but was quickly apprehended based on witness descriptions.

The suspect's name has not been released.
