Professional yarn-bombers Jill and Lorna Watt, a sister act who've been at this for years, just unveiled their latest animal-themed creations, a trio of giraffes adorning three trees in SF's Civic Center Plaza.

"These cuties have quickly become one our favorite yarn bombs!" writes the duo on Instagram.

I'm unclear whether any city workers have removed the giraffes yet (they were installed five days ago), but below are a couple more photos for posterity.

Next up: some knit versions of the wild parrots of Telegraph Hill.
