A man who police say was "acting bizarrely" at a Placer County nature preserve was arrested last week, following a struggle during which he allegedly urinated on a deputy.

The man you see in the photo above was spotted by "Placer County Sheriff's Department Sergeant Dellinger, Deputy Carlton, and Alcoholic Beverage Control Agent Wright" Thursday evening at around 9 p.m. at the Miners Ravine Nature Preserve, the department says via Facebook.

The man, identified as 55-year-old Sacramento resident Steven Holley, "was acting bizarrely and definitely did not look like he was interested in the beauty that the park offers," the PCSD writes.

It's unclear what did send Holley to the area, but police say that he was discovered to have meth and "drug paraphernalia" on his person.

He was arrested following a "brief struggle," they write. During that struggle, Deputy Carlton apparently got the worst of it, as he was allegedly "urinated on" by the suspect.

According Placer County Sheriff's Office records, following his arrest on September 8, Holley was released on his own recognizance. As of publication time, he remains free to again enjoy nature's bounty or, one hopes, seek help for any issues he might presently be facing.
