How many men does it take to steal a cell phone at a busy San Francisco corner? Three, if a recent crime in the Financial District is any indication.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the incident occurred at 5 p.m. Monday, at the intersection of Sansome and Sutter Streets.

Police say that the 34-year-old female victim was "standing at the corner waiting for a cab" when three men who looked to be between 18-22 approached.

One of the men in the group suddenly "grabbed and stole [the victim's] cell phone." The trio then took off running down the street in an unknown direction, police say.

The woman was not injured in the mugging, police say. The suspects remain at large, and the SFPD confirms that no arrests have been made in the case.
