Alleged Hot Prowler Caught In SF Window

Alleged Hot Prowler Caught In SF Window

A man who was allegedly attempting to rob a Church Street home found himself in an uncomfortable position Tuesday, when a resident caught him in her kitchen window.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the hot prowl went down at around 8 a.m. Tuesday, at a home on the 1700 block of Church Street, which is between 29th and 30th Streets.

Police say that the 28-year-old resident of the home "heard a male voice from her kitchen." When she walked into the room to see what was going on, she discovered a 38-year-old man "partially inside her kitchen window."

The window-bound man then attempted to flee on foot, as the woman followed "and directed responding officers." Those responding officers eventually nabbed the suspect, and placed him under arrest.
