Preparations for Burning Man 2017 are kicking into high gear this week as time ticks away before the Burn — and some organizers are already arriving or on their way to start construction on camps and installations.

This extensive video by Burning Man chronicler Mark Day has just been released, nearly a year later, depicting the wonders of Burning Man 2016 and featuring interviews with many of the artists who created the monumental artworks on the playa last year. Let it be just the psych-up you need if the to-do list that's still undone is keeping you up at night and ruining your August.

The video includes talks with artists like the Pier Group who created the Space Whale, and Dan Sullivan who designed the Catacomb of Veils.
