A woman picked up by a cab on an SF street was robbed early Wednesday, by a driver who then kicked her out of the car.
According to San Francisco Police Department spokesperson Officer Robert Rueca, the 42-year-old female victim hailed a taxi driven by a man in his mid 30s at 1:30 Wednesday morning.
Once the woman was in the cab, police say that the driver took her to her requested destination, on the 500 block of O'Farrell Street, which is between Leavenworth and Jones Streets.
However, police say, "when they reached the destination, [the suspect] took [the victim's] wallet, removed her property, and forced her out of the vehicle."
The driver then sped off, and remains at large. Police did not have any additional details on the suspect to share as of publication time, but did confirm that no arrests have been made in the case.
