A developing situation is happening around the Tenderloin intersection of Turk Street and Leavenworth, and SF's Department of Emergency Management just issued the above tweet and a text advisory asking "individuals in the area of the 200 block of Turk and the 100 block of Leavenworth... to shelter in place (stay away from windows) until further notice."
An SFPD rep confirms that this is due to a suspicious device thus the "stay away from windows" part.
We'll advise you as we learn more details.
Update: The advisory was lifted as of about 2 p.m., without incident.
