We now have the Barbary (comedy) tent lineup for next month's Outside Lands, and it includes the one and only Jeff Goldblum whom SFist interviewed two Augusts back when he was in town with his Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. He'll again be performing at OL with the orchestra, and also on the top of the bill is the great Nick Kroll, as well as Nikki Glaser, Henry Rollins, Todd Barry, and Guy Branum.
As always, the Barbary Tent will be packed for just about every show, and if you're headed to the festival you should be warned that your interest will be pulled in many directions at once, and just going to see one set at the Barbary is a time commitment because you will need to claim a place in line about 30-45 minutes ahead of the showtime, or else you won't get a seat and seating is strictly limited in there.
Also, Ranger Dave announced this year's night shows happening outside the festival grounds at the Rickshaw Stop, the Independent, Mezzanine, and the Academy of Sciences. These include Belle & Sebastian playing a Thursday show at the Independent, and Sleigh Bells playing the Independent at 10 p.m. on Friday, August 11, just as the first night's festival shows let out. You can enter to win a pair of tickets at any of the night shows on the festival website, and current OL ticket holders will be getting an email sent to them with a pre-sale code to buy tickets to the shows.
Meanwhile single-day tickets for all three days of the festival in Golden Gate Park, both general admission and VIP, are still for sale, though likely not for long.
