Sunday is Mother's Day and while she's done basically everything for you, you've probably dropped the ball on celebrating your mom.

SFGate threw together a list of San Francisco restaurants that are still accepting reservations for Sunday — and my mother wouldn't be wild about any of them. Here's a fun rule of thumb: anything with "Enoteca" or "Ristorante" is generally a hit with anyone who's had to lend you her Accord, as is any Il Fornaio. To assist those of us scrambling for last minute ideas that appear beautifully planned, I've rounded up a list of brunch spots that appear available on OpenTable and would live up to the impossible standards of my mother.

For San Francisco moms:

Perry's on Union Street
Uva Enoteca
54 Mint
Bluestem Brasserie
The Cavalier
Scala's
Gracias Madre
Perbacco
The Big Four

For North Bay moms:

Balboa Cafe in Mill Valley
Poggio Trattoria
Harvest Table
El Dorado Kitchen
Left Bank Larkspur
Insalata's

For South Bay moms:

The Village Pub
Cetrella
Doppio Zero
Left Bank Menlo Park
Osteria Coppa
Mistral Restaurant and Bar

East Bay Moms:

The Star
Calavera Mexican Kitchen and Agave Bar
Osmanthus
Duende
Cafe Eugene
Lungomare

Tips for keeping mom happy at brunch include making sure that the decaf is really decaf (she doesn't need to be up all night), and that desserts aren't too big ("Oh I could never eat all of THIS!")

Shout-out to all the moms out there, especially the matriarchs of SFist's staff of well-bred misfits.<3
