Tennis champion Serena Williams just posted a baby bump photo to Snapchat announcing, essentially, that she is five months pregnant, even though her reps haven't confirmed the news yet according to TMZ. And since we know she's been living at least part time in San Francisco with fiancé and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanion, this means only one thing: Serena may be planning to raise her firstborn right here in SF.
And given San Francisco's general dearth of celebrities overall, especially celebrity babies, this is a pretty big deal.
Williams and Ohanion announced their engagement, via Reddit of course, back in late December. And as TMZ puts it, "If ya do the math, it kinda adds up."
As the New York Daily News points out, Williams was apparently a few weeks pregnant in January when she beat her sister Venus to win the Australian Open.
The couple has been dating since 2015, when they met at a lunch in Rome, and Ohanion popped the question at the same table where they met, during an impromptu trip to Italy over the holidays. Williams now sports an engagement ring reportedly worth $2 million.
Williams was last spotted, in February, hanging around the tennis courts at Dolores Park in February, and it's fairly probable that she and Ohanion have been shacking up in the neighborhood the Dolores Terrace/Liberty Hill area is a known preference of tech billionaires.
Just two days ago, Williams posted the photo below to Instagram showing Ohanion sweeping her off her feet on a beach that looks like it's in Northern California. Anyone recognize it?
And when's the shotgun wedding?
