A woman who returned to her vehicle as it was being robbed was beaten by the thieves, police say, and lost a laptop in the process.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the 28-year-old female victim had parked on the 1600 block of Geary Boulevard, which is between Laguna and Webster Streets Tuesday evening. When she returned to her car at 8:30 p.m., she discovered two suspects, both believed to be aged 18-20, "taking property from her vehicle."
Police say that the woman confronted the two men, one of whom punched her in response.
The suspects then fled the scene on foot, the goods stolen from the woman's car in tow. According to the SFPD, that included a backpack, a laptop, and unspecified "accessories."
The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the attack, police say. The suspects, according to the SFPD, remain at large as of Wednesday morning.
