A man accused of a pattern of sexual assault while onboard Muni lines, mostly the N-Judah, is being sought today by SFPD officers. One female victim of the accused assailant tells KRON 4 that he attacks women in crowded Muni Metro trains, intentionally bumping into them and groping them.

"I felt someone banging against me," says Michelle, who identified herself by her first name only to ABC 7 and contacted police after the incident. She shared her experience in a Facebook post in an effort to capture the assailant, writing that she had seen the man rub himself against another women weeks earlier in a similar circumstance on Muni.

"I was very angry because the fact that this was the second time, me seeing the guy made me think, 'He must do this regularly,"' Michelle told the news channel. "I want women to feel empowered and to be able to know that you can call 911. This is an assault."

Michelle speculated that the suspect waits for bumpy parts of transit rides to assault women. Police consider the behavior to constitute sexual battery.

Officer Grace Gatpandan of the SFPD says "at this point, it is in the best interest of the public to be on the lookout for this guy." SFPD's anonymous Tip Line is (415) 575-4444. You can also text a tip to TIP411.
