The teaser trailer for Disney-Pixar's latest animated feature, Coco, has just been released, and the film tells the tale of a 12-year-old, guitar-playing Mexican boy named Miguel who dreams of becoming a musician and, via a magical guitar and a set of supernatural circumstances, finds himself, along with his dog, in the Land of the Dead. He's then surrounded by some glorious Day of the Dead-style characters reminiscent of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

And, "Along the way, he meets a charming trickster, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history," as the Pixar description goes.

Coco will be shown in 3D and arrive in theaters just in time for holiday season, but a few weeks late for Dia de los Muertos, on November 22.
