The driver of a 38-Geary Muni bus was left injured this morning, after a man attacked her through the coach's window as she drove through SoMa.

ABC 7 reports that the operator of the outbound bus was at Main and Folsom Streets at 3:25 a.m. Thursday when the attack occurred.

According to NBC Bay Area, a man walked up to the bus and attacked her through the driver's side window.

He then ran off, police say, and hasn't been seen since.

The driver "was taken to a hospital as a precaution, but is expected to be OK," NBC reports. As of publication time, no arrests have been made in the case, and the suspect remains at large.
