Police are seeking the driver of a silver van Tuesday, after he or she drove into a woman in a crosswalk then fled.

Police say that the collision occurred at 6:08 p.m. Monday, at the intersection of Bush and Laguna Streets.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the 48-year-old female pedestrian was crossing the street with the light and in a crosswalk. Suddenly, the driver of a "Silver cargo van with a bicycle rack on top" struck her, police say, but instead of stopping the motorist kept on going, headed east on Bush.

The pedestrian was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of injuries police say are not life threatening. The driver remains at large as of Tuesday morning, and no arrests have been made in the case.
