Once again, Dan Savage's carefully curated film festival for homegrown porn (and somewhat porn-y indie shorts) HUMP! is returning to San Francisco, marking the first stop on its national tour at the Victoria Theatre starting next Wednesday, January 11. This year the festival's program plays 11 times over the course of four days, and there are still tickets for most of those showings, going for $25 — and yes, you have to be over 18 to attend.

This is the 12th annual HUMP! festival, and SFist spoke with one of last year's filmmakers, who preferred to remain anonymous, saying, "The more we can contribute to the portrayal of porn actors as normal people — beautiful people who are beautiful without bleached hair and bleached assholes — the better."

The program consists of a couple of hours of shorts, all under five minutes, and all representing "a cornucopia of body types, shapes, ages, colors, sexualities, genders, kinks, and fetishes — all united by a shared spirit of sex-positivity." The full list of films and descriptions, which you can see here, includes things like a camping trip that "goes from bromance to Brokeback real quick," a tutorial by two transwomen "in ass-eating, blowjobs, rim seats, and scorching hot sex," a "musical number featuring sock puppets, xylophones, and intergenerational fist fucking!," and footage of a "Summer Fuckation" in which a "hot straight sporty couple fucked at Burning Man, climbed some rocks and fucked on top of those, they even fucked in the sky."

As Savage himself has described the fest, "It's rare for people to watch porn that takes them outside their comfort zones — it's rare for people to watch porn that, if they were home alone in front of the computer, they wouldn't choose to click on and watch. At HUMP! straight people watch gay porn, vanilla people watch kinky porn, gay people watch lesbian porn. And people laugh, they gasp, sometimes they cover their eyes. But at the end of every film people clap and cheer."
