A teenage boy had a rough ride on Muni Friday, when a group of fellow teens demanded his shoes at gun and knifepoint.
Police say the crime went down at 9:40 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Central Avenue and Hayes Street. According to the San Francisco Police Department, the 15-year-old male victim had just gotten off Muni at that intersection when he was surrounded by three male teens, all aged around 15 years old.
One of the suspects, police say, "brandished a handgun in his waistband." Another suspect "brandished a knife and told [the victim] to give them his shoes."
The victim removed his shoes and handed them over. The suspect with the knife then pulled the victim's cellphone from his pocket. The trio of miscreants ran north on Central, according to the SFPD, and haven't been seen since. As of Tuesday morning, police say that no arrests have been made, and the suspects remain at large.
