When Apple executives first unveiled the new $159 wireless AirPods the product was roundly mocked for being "like a tampon without a string," and internet jokesters quickly launched an IndieGoGo for product modifications meant to keep users from losing an earbud or two. However, it turns out the true solution was inside of us all along, and that the only thing requiring modification in Apple's future is our bodies.
Andrew Cornett, who is in all likelihood a bold techno-utopian cyborg, simply slotted the earbud base into his gauged ears (size 0) — thus simultaneously securing the headphone in place and guaranteeing that AirPods are destined to be at least moderately cooler than Google Glass ever was.
