Police are seeking a ride hail company driver, after his passenger says he briefly kidnapped her instead of taking her to her destination.

Police say that the incident happened at 2:23 a.m. Saturday, when a woman in her 20s caught a ride from an unspecified-by-police transportation network company.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, it's presently "unknown" where the "intoxicated" woman was picked up, but instead of taking her to her requested location the male driver took her to an "unknown" and "secluded area." The driver then "made threats and unwanted advances" towards the woman, who "refused."

The driver then dropped the woman off at a hotel on Lombard Street, then fled. As of Monday, the driver remains at large, according to the SFPD.
