A shooting early Saturday near 14th Street and Broadway in Oakland has left eight people injured, including two male suspects who were also shot in the melee. The incident, as KRON 4 reports, happened just after midnight Friday, around 12:15 a.m. outside a nightclub at 420 14th Street which appears to be Venue, though CBS 5 talked to Acting Lt. Rachael Van Sloten who said the nightclub is called Vinyl. (Raw video posted to Facebook, above, shows both names on the sign.)

Four female victims and two males ranging from ages 17 to 28 years old were injured, as were two suspects said to be 21 and 28 years old — though CBS 5 says the suspects are 17 and 21. Both have been arrested.

Of the six victims not considered suspects, five are in stable condition and one is in critical condition. Some of the victims were transported to hospitals via ambulances, others self-transported according to ABC 7.

KRON 4 found a witness who says 10 shots were fired, and said "the shooting appeared to be gang-related, [because] he heard gang members bragging afterwards at a liquor store down the street."
