As expected, Treasure Island Music Festival's tenth anniversary faced some serious weather Saturday, and the rain also led to some delays in artists' arrivals via SFO, leading to some schedule changes, unhappiness, and a big hour-plus gap this evening where no acts were performing. Also, everyone who braved the weather got quite wet, audience members and artists alike.
The festival has always been rain-or-shine, but this is the first year that it coincided with actual rain storms, causing an unprecedented pause this evening, and the cancellation of the set by Flight Facilities, who either could not make it in time or did not want to perform in the rain.
Also, one young woman had to be rolled out on a gurney after a vending machine apparently toppled onto her due to high winds.
As a result of the situation, festival organizers decided to allow re-entry for all those who may have left earlier and decided to return.

Rain cleared and we're getting the stage ready for Thugger. Appreciate your patience everyone!

Young Thug was also delayed at SFO, and though he took the stage, eventually, in the rain, Oakland's Kamaiyah, who had already done a set at 12:45, took the larger Bridge Stage for a second set to fill in the gap.
Successful day iconic honestly truly #TIMF10 was the best performance of my career thus far hands down

Our intrepid SFist correspondents are still making their way back from the island, but we'll have more details and coverage when they do.
