A duo of robbers committed a daring heist Tuesday — a mid-day robbery of a bank on a bustling stretch of Mission Street.
It was 12:42 in the afternoon when police say that a man, aged somewhere between 30 and 40, entered a bank on the 2500 block of Mission Street, which is between 21st and 22nd Streets.
He walked up to a 24-year-old female teller and handed her a note demanding cash, according to the San Francisco Police Department. The teller complied, handing the man an undisclosed amount of US currency.
The robber then left the bank, getting into a vehicle driven by a man aged between 30 and 50. Both fled the scene, and remain on the loose as of Wednesday morning.
