A 19-year-old man was killed on the streets of San Francisco Saturday, a victim of the city's 34th homicide for 2016.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers were called to the 1700 block of Oakdale Avenue at 12:19 a.m. Saturday, where they found a 19-year-old man suffering from "gunshot wounds to [the] torso."
Though police started CPR and responding paramedics continued it as he was transported to the hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival, police say. Monday morning, the San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as San Francisco resident Alejandro Valle.
Citing the ongoing investigation, police did not provide many details on the circumstances of the shooting. However, they say that they are seeking three suspects: Two men and a woman, who reportedly fled the scene in a sedan following the slaying. As of publication time, no arrests have been made in the case.
