Popular Sausalito Italian spot Poggio Trattoria, as well as possibly the Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa that sits above it, were on fire this morning, as Eater reports via a tipster.
A restaurant employee confirmed the fire in the restaurant itself, and photos showed a small plume of smoke rising from the building.
The fire doesn't appear especially serious, but any sort of kitchen fire can lead to a temporary closure.
A chimney fire at the Mission's Lolinda shut down that restaurant for nearly a week earlier this summer.
The swanky Casa Madrona reopened in 2014 following a renovation of its historic mansion, which sits behind the building pictured. And via Facebook they were just welcoming Oracle OpenWorld visitors this afternoon.
