Good news for steak-lovers with reservations at Lolinda: The restaurant has finished cleaning up after that small fire last Friday, and will reopen for dinner service tonight, Thursday. The team made the announcement via Facebook as shown above.
Earlier this week, the rooftop bar, El Techo, reopened. It had also suffered a bit of damage from the fire, which began in the first-floor kitchen but exploded up through a flue pipe to the roof, sending smoke throughout the neighborhood.
The main restaurant suffered primarily from water damage from the sprinklers and the firefight, and it was apparently enough to require five days to clean up.
If you were one of those with reservations at the popular restaurant in the past five days, you should contact the restaurant at 415-550-6970 to reschedule.
