A group of no-good punks ages 65 to 96 were seen spraypainting a wall at the Institute on Aging, 3575 Geary, under the leadership of noted LA graffiti artist Man One.
Scott Power, the founder and curatorial director of Crewest Studio, had the idea according to 7X7: To keep the old feeling young, why not teach them about street art and let them try their hand at it? Seniors from the Institute had the chance to listen to hip-hop and spoken word, take a field trip to Clarion Alley, and eventually reclaim a drab wall as their own.
Keep an eye out for these kids, SFPD: They look like a couple of taggers to me.
