A fire burning in a Haight Street residence has been controlled this morning, but not before it was escalated to a two alarm blaze.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the fire in a home on the 100 block of Haight Street, which is between Octavia Boulevard and Laguna Street, was reported at 2:25 Tuesday morning.
In the video below, sent to SFist by area resident John Han, you can see the fire burning through the facade of the residence as the first SFFD truck appears to arrive.
In a tweet posted at 3:09 a.m., the SFFD reports that they had gotten the two alarm blaze "under control," and that primary and secondary searches for occupants had been completed.
Video posted by KRON 4 of the fire's aftermath shows how intensely the fire must have burned, with firefighters inspecting piles of charred debris following the blaze.
As of publication time, no injures had been reported, and the number of people displaced by the fire was unknown.
