Metallica is going into overdrive right now.

Just as Spotify releases its first foray into video with a documentary about the band's rise to fame called Landmark — Metallica: The Early Years and the band prepares to release its first studio album in seven years. That's Hardwired… To Self-Destruct, which the band explains to Radio.com will be 80-minutes across two discs (with a deluxe edition third disc according to billboard) out on November 18th. And to tease the album and reward fans, the band has just surprise us with a single called "Hardwired."

Thrashing, old-school Metallica kicks in right away, and lyrics like "In the name if desperation/In the name of wretched pain," might even get you through this Friday afternoon. "In the name of all creation/Gone Insane/We’re so fucked/Shit out of luck/Hardwired to self-destruct!!!” Easy does it when head banging at work, though.
