A Fillmore Street Razor scooter rider was cruelly stripped of his mode of transport Tuesday, after two teens ripped it from his grasp.

The 31-year-old male victim was piloting his scooter down Fillmore Street at 7:06 p.m. Tuesday evening, police say, when he encountered two menacing teens on the 1400 block, between Eddy and O'Farrell Streets.

The suspects, described as 14 and 16 years old, pulled the scooter from its owner's hands, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

"Fearing for his safety," police say, the victim "let them take it."

The scooter swipers fled in an unknown direction, police say. As of Wednesday afternoon, no arrests have been made in this case, and the suspects remain at large.
