This kid liked the A's bandana. Asked us to play. Had no idea who he was playing with. Sean was charged with the run pic.twitter.com/78qFOcTMa6

A's pitcher Sean Doolittle was strolling with his dog and girlfriend Eireann Dolan, a CSN sports host, when, it appears, an adorable child noticed the dog's A's bandana. Not realizing, however, that he was engaging a major leaguer and not just another fan, he asked to play an imaginary game of baseball with Doolittle. The results are pictures and video picked up by local stations like ABC 7 and national outlets like SBNation.
Charmingly, Doolittle appears to have given up quite a hit: Uncharacteristic, since he's got a 2016 ERA of 2.93. Nice one, kid.
Update: just noticed the little boy took my phone and snapped these pics at some point pic.twitter.com/ZU7aXUi9vL
