Sometimes it's the little things in life that make all the difference. Surely this was on the mind of the above pictured Giants fan, who, as the video shows, after catching a foul ball demonstrated to the world that he is just the nicest dude around by giving the ball to a nearby kid.
This went down at yesterday's Giants game against the Brewers at AT&T Park (which we won 10 to 1), and provided a bit of heartwarming joy in an otherwise soul-crushing week.
In the video the man can be seen holding the ball on high, celebrating his catch, before he passes it off to the young boy. And the young Giants fan clearly appreciated the gesture — seemingly so overcome with joy after getting the ball he rushed back over to the man and gave him a big hug.
So thank you, random Giants fan, for making that kid's experience all the more magical and reminding us that a little bit of kindness goes a long way.
