"Golden State running practice at my house" boasts Drake on his track "Summer 16," and lo, for once the rapper's braggadocio has basis in fact. As MTV writes, Steph has balled chez Drake, while not with the entire Warriors team in tow, and Drake paid him back with a visit this past weekend.
The occasion, Inside Scoop reports, was the opening of Steph's partner's pop-up. That's correct, it was cookbook author and chef Ayesha Curry with the pot at the latest Michael Mina Test Kitchen iteration, called International Smoke, a showcase of the variety of barbecue styles on Planet Earth.
As Bleacher Report has it, Steph also dropped in on Drake the next day, appearing on Drake's OVO Sound Radio spot to help the rapper premier new track "4 p.m. in Calabasas."
Oh, and it goes without saying that Steph was well fed and in good form as the Warriors pillaged the Cavs on Sunday to take game 2 of the NBA finals.
