A young woman's selfie session turned larcenous Saturday, when a man suddenly tore her call phone from her grasp.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, a 23-year-old woman was at the idyllic Cow Hollow intersection of Union and Buchanan Streets at 1:45 Saturday afternoon, "taking selfies with her cell phone."
Suddenly, a man between the ages of 30-35 appeared and "snatched" the phone "out of her hand."
The thief hopped into a black SUV, police say, and fled.
The victim was not injured during the incident, according to police. Her robber, they say, has yet to be apprehended.
