It appears that the people over at SF Station may have jumped the gun with an earlier post, caught by an eagle-eyed SFist reader, listing an 2016 Outside Lands lineup which has not yet been officially announced. (It very well may be a fake, based on some informed speculation, however the actual Outside Lands lineup may be getting officially announced in just a few hours, if they stick to the same schedule as last year.) [Update: Here is the source of the poster, and yes, it is fake.]

The post (cached here) was taken down shortly after publishing. And when you look at the official Outside Lands lineup page, you are still greeted with a big "coming soon!"

The full unconfirmed 2016 Outside Lands lineup included rumored headliner Radiohead, Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, and Lana Del Rey, as well as Ty Segall & the Muggers, Sufjan Stevens, Grimes, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, and Blood Orange. Actually, it is quite an awesome lineup, assuming this is close to the real thing. We'll update this post with the official lineup as soon as it drops.

Three-day tickets are expected to go on sale later this week, and the three-day festival in Golden Gate Park is scheduled for August 5 through 7. That much, we can say, is confirmed.

Update 2: Looks like there won't be any lineup announcement today, a year to the day of 2015's announcement. Maybe tomorrow (Wednesday)? Stay tuned.
