It's been a mere two days since the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers in Santa Clara, and the mess from Super Bowl City and the NFL Fan Experience is still being cleaned up. What's more, it is expected to take weeks before we know if the estimated $5.3 million bill to taxpayers for hosting Super Bowl 50-related festivities is an accurate prediction or a low-balled estimated. And so, let's get ready to do it all again! Right? That's what you want, right? Well that, dear readers, is the suggestion of CEO and President of the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee Keith Bruce.

Don't even pretend like you're surprised, argues Bruce. It seems making San Francisco the NFL's go-to Super Bowl spot was the Host Committee's plan all along.

"We were very clear from the very beginning we did not want this to be a one and done," ABC 7 reports Bruce as declaiming yesterday. "We did not want this to be a Super Bowl and wait another 10, 20, 30 years to have one. We'd love to have it back in five or six years but there's a lot of work to be done."

This idea might not be so far fetched, as the football powers that be appear particularly pleased with how San Francisco officials bent over backwards to please them — NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, notes ABC 7, said Super Bowl 50 was a "perfect celebration."

Bruce and Goodell aren't the only ones hoping for a replay. The Director of the Hotel Council of San Francisco, Kevin Carroll, told the Chronicle that having another Super Bowl here should be a no-brainer.

“It’s been exciting, good for business, and the exposure for the city on a global media scale is tremendous," he assuredly stated. "How could we not want it back?” Tell that to Slanted Door and Boulevard, which sat right next to Super Bowl City and saw dramatic drops in business last week.

Of course plenty of people who don't live in San Francisco would also love to see the city host NFL-themed parties again.

"They can hold the big game here every year as far as I’m concerned.” 42-year-old Carlos Trevino of Santa Cruz excitedly informed the Chronicle.

So when is the earliest we could be blessed with the Super Bowl again? Well, voting takes place two years in advance, and the 2019 site has yet to be selected.
