The San Francisco Police Department is seeking a shoplifting trio that brazenly swiped a number of pricey handbags from a Pacific Heights store.
In an email sent late Tuesday, SFPD spokesperson Officer Carlos Manfredi says that on December 28 at 5:05 p.m.,the three folks you see in the video below "entered a retail store on the 2100 block of Fillmore," which is between California and Sacramento Streets.
The store in question is recognizable in the video as the Marc Jacobs store at 2141 Fillmore, located at the corner of Fillmore and Sacramento.
According to Manfredi, the dastardly trinity entered the store and walked "directly to a display shelf near the entrance."
"Two of the three suspects are seen grabbing handbags and almost immediately running out the door," Manfredi says, even as "a clerk unsuccessfully tries to stop one of the thieves."
All in all, Manfredi says, the thieves, which he's calling "The Grab & Go Bandits," got away with over $1700 worth of merchandise from the store.
Do you recognize these Marc Jacobs-loving menaces? If so, Manfredi asks that you contact SFPD's anonymous tip line at 415- 575-4444 or text them a tip at TIP411, just remember to begin your message with "SFPD."
