Joining the likes of the semi-notorious Clooney's Pub, Pop's Bar on 24th Street in the Mission will now open at 6 a.m. daily. The announcement, which comes just in time to allow for a (very) early morning New Year's Day bacon Bloody Mary at the once-dive bar, will likely please SF General graveyard-shift workers and neighborhood drunks alike.

That seems to be very much the demographic Pop's is going for (SF General employees, that is), with a poster announcing the new hours that features a nurse and a doctor.

"You have been giving shots all night," the announcement reads, "now come get some for yourselves."

The bar will serve coffee, Irish coffee, and Mexican coffee in addition to their standard bacon Bloody Mary's.
