The San Francisco Police Department is seeking a man they're describing as "older" after a brazen mid-day heist on a busy Richmond District street.

It was 1:12 p.m. Wednesday when police say that an Asian man in his mid-60s walked into a bank on the 400 block of Clement Street, which is between 5th and 6th Avenues.

While SFPD won't confirm the exact location of the bank, there's only one on that block — an East West Bank at 498 Clement.

According to police, the man, who "did not appear to have a weapon," threatened a female bank teller and demanded money.

She gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and he walked back out of the bank.

According to the SFPD, no arrests have been made nor have any suspects been identified. They ask that if you have any information on the case, you give them a call at their anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444 or text them a tip at TIP411 with “SFPD” at the beginning of the message.
