The SFFD responded in force at midnight to a fire at Pierce and Waller Streets. It appears to have been a fire in a garage on the residential block of Pierce Street between Duboce Park and Waller Street, at 75 Pierce Street.
According to ScannerSays, this was a two-alarm fire that has already been "knocked down" as of 12:10 a.m. Thursday, and some second-alarm units have already been called off. More details as warranted.
Update: Hoodline spoke to the homeowner, and the fire was contained to just the garage, and may have been caused by a battery charger of some kind.
SFFD reports visible fire has been knocked down. Crews are working on ventilation and overhaul at this time. Some 2nd alarm units released.
