A Muni bus was damaged by gunfire Friday night, when bullets struck it as it turned onto a busy San Francisco Street.
Hoodline reports that a 5-Fulton bus was turning McAllister Street onto Market Street at 11:20 p.m. Friday when the driver's side front window was pierced by gunfire.
The driver, a 57-year-old woman, was not injured by the bullet. However, at 4 a.m. Saturday morning a 28-year-old man appeared in the Emergency Room of San Francisco General Hospital with a gunshot wound to his foot.
According to Bay City News, "the injury may have been caused by the same bullet, but the victim refused to provide police with further information regarding his injury." A call to SFPD for more details on how they connected the man's injury with the bus shooting has not been returned at publication time.
