SFist reader Kendall Willets sent us the above photo Thursday evening, subject lining it "Woman met the clue train at 10th and Market." Obviously Willets is referring to the F-Market streetcar in the photo, not the Manifesto, but it's worth noting that in both cases, the word "impact" is frequently applied.
Willets writes that the driver "tried an illegal left from the right lane" on Market Street at 10th Street "and hit the F." Which is understandable given the unobtrusive coloring of the historic streetcar! One can see how the driver might have overlooked the silent and sneakily-camouflaged vehicle.
On the upside, the crash was "low speed," Willets says, and an emergency dispatcher says that no injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
